This is a week with a lot of great shows... all on the same night.  So instead of my usual daily run-down, here's all the reasons I wish there were 3 of me:

Tuesday, Feb 1

Lower Crust Comedy at Ghenghis Cohen - JFL Showcase 9:30 pm

Lower Crust consistently has an amazing lineup and you know it's gonna be extra great with folks bringing their A game, trying to get to Montreal.

Fresh Faces at the Laugh Factory 10 pm

The Fresh Faces show introduced you to great you comics whose names aren't necessarily on any marquee around town, but are hilarious, talented and on the rise.  After the show, you can vote online for your favorites.  Hosted by Funny or Die's Michael Kvamme, this edition includes the adorable Theo Von and headliner Ben Gleib of Cheslea Lately.

Holy Fuck and the Downtown Independent 9 pm

Packed lineup, totally free!  Andy Kindler, Lauren Ashley Bishop, Will Weldon, Dave Ross and more.

Thursday, Feb 3

This is Not Happening, a Storyteller Series at the Hollywood Improv 8 pm

Ari Shaffir's storyteller series allows audiences to see their favorite stand-ups telling long-form stories.  This month Joe Rogan, Jeff Garlin, Tig Notario and more will be telling tales about shitty, shitty jobs.

Comedy Speakeasy at The Loft (Behind Pinks on la Brea) 8 pm

Josh Fillipowski assembles some of the funniest people around to do stand-up, show videos and chat, all streamed live on the interwebs.

Birthday Jam at Sal's Comedy Hole 9 pm

Some of my favorite comics - Josh Adam Meyers, Sam Tripoli and Duncan Trussell - will be celebrating comedy fan Gabriel Killian's birthday.  the show is FREE!
