(Second Half of) April Comedy Guide

I'm baaack from my hiatus, masquerading as a responsible corporate citizen.  And guess who else is back?

Return of the Ding Dong Show!

The most brilliant piece of comedy meta theater you can see today.  Hand picked by the legendary Mitzi Shore for weekly performances in the Belly Room at the Comedy Store, they've been performing an an undisclosed location for a few months, but Big Powerful Dean has asked them back. Monday April 18 at 10 pm is the triumphant return of this talk show/talent show/intervention.  In the meantime, check outDon Barris' secret message.

Mack Lindsay's Darkest Hour

Saturday, April 23 at 10:30pm, Belly Room of the Comedy Store(More info)- Mack Lindsay isn't for everyone... but he should be.  His dark honest style has been compared to Stanhope or Hicks and isa true pleasure to watch once you tune in.  For his new monthly show, he's assembled a group of comedians who are just as interesting and challenging as he is, including Rick Shapiro, Sean Rouse, Vitze Fluke and Josh Adam Meyers.

The SHP Show

Wednesday, April 27 at 7:30pm at Red Rock Bar (More Info)  Retta of Parks & Recreation fame headlines a show packed with some of the best young comedians in town (and some of my best friends) Paul Palmeri, Casey Balsham, Robby Slowik and that old guy Earl Skakel.
